Request a QuoteThe customer wanted secondary truck containment for two commercial tanker trucks carrying fuel at their transfer point. The minimum volume to contain was just over 6,000 gallons. Installation needed to be done without disrupting the scheduled deliveries.
This project includes two (2) drive on pads, one at 12′ x 48′, and one at 12′ x 56′, and a sump measuring 15ā x 20ā x 2.5ā. The pads are at the off-loading headers (commercial trucks). The two pads are plumbed via a 4″ line to a large overflow sump just behind the headers. This sump is complete with a 1 ½” drain with ball valve. The total volume of containment is 6,800 gallons.
Each containment pad is constructed out of steel encapsulated in fiberglass with a non-slip surface. The triangular walls are 3 5/8ā high and capable of withstanding the force of a fully loaded tanker driving over them regularly.
This is an excellent permanent solution for truck containment. It is quickly and easily installed without disrupting the entire operation, not to mention our system has the capability of being relocated to accommodate future sites.
